Last week (week of 28-Sep) they got most of the crown molding done. But nothing much else was done? This week they have started the painting. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent getting ready to paint as everything except wall, ceiling and molding had to be covered – taped over or whatever before the painting starts. Yesterday they started the painting and got the ceilings all done, base coat and final coat. They will continue today and over the weekend. They also got the house electrical system connected to the city power. Have not installed the circuit breakers in the breaker box but this will probably be done after the painting. Below are a couple of pictures where you can see the ceiling has been painted.
In an email from them this week they did say we are on track for a 10-Nov final walk-through. Still, a lot to be done outside, i.e., driveway, dirt and sod for the yard, sidewalk, landscaping, etc. But those are the major items to be done.
