Well – today almost felt like I walked into a beehive!
When I got there the foreman for the project was there so spent some time going over several questions with him.
As you can see below the driveway and some of the sidewalks were poured.
The electricians got all of the lights installed and they are working! Had to track Tricia down to make sure as to the location for the pendant lights.
Yesterday got a call from the realtor for the house and arranged a meeting with the landscape person, Anthony. Then spent quite a bit of time with Anthony discussing the landscaping. Being as I like camellias that will be the main planting. As you look at the house below, there will be lavender crepe myrtles on the right and left corners of the house. To the left of steps will be a Sea Foam camellia and on the right of the steps and to the right of the garage opening Pink Perfections. From the left Crepe Myrtle to the Sea Foam will be several Shi Shi Gashiras. From the first Pink Perfection to the left side of the garage opening will be several Mini No Yukis. In the recessed area between the garage and the steps I have Japanese Maple in a large concrete pot (square) which will go there.
So it is really coming together. The yard should be sodded this week and the camellias planted.
I will be gone until Monday so should have several more updates.
