May 2024 ACES: Prepare Your Garden

Grow More Videos – May 2024

As mentioned in the newsletter in April and May, I will spend some time introducing you to the wide-reaching range of topics that ACES has prepared to help us all become better gardeners.

Over the next few months, we will break our topics into three categories:

  1. Initial preparation of the garden
  2. What to plant and control of insects
  3. Growing and harvesting

The topics for this month will deal with preparing your garden. They will cover

topics such as where you want to place your garden, raised bed gardening, irrigation. A lot of the topics are relevant for both spring and fall gardens, i.e. weed control, preparing seed tape, irrigation techniques, etc.
