End Of Quail Creek Gardening Newsletter

If you ever want to learn then teach!

Well, this is my final article for the Quail Creek Newsletter!

After having done this article for the Quail Creek Newsletter for about four years I am hereby resigning from this position. I will be pursuing other interests and addressing similar topics for Georgia near my grand-daughter, her family and relatives in the Gainesville GA area.

It has been, for me, a very rewarding, four years and to say I enjoyed it is a great understatement. I was in academia for 22 years as well in a corporate education environment for about 24 years, but this, it has been quite a trip. A MAJOR reason for doing something like this is self-knowledge. That is, I learned quite a bit about gardening in our area over the course of a year during the spring, summer, fall and winter as I hope you did!

Please be aware that by the end of May my webpage “Quail Creek Plants” at https://quailcreekcivic.org/links/ will be disappear so please read, learn, and copy what you want before it is retired.

If you go back and look at all of the articles you will see that all the seasons are covered, vegetables are covered, flowers, bulbs, shrubs, garden centers, garden preparation and much, much more has been addressed.

So enjoy planting, searching for new varieties, but MOST importantly sharing your knowledge with others!

Thanks for all of the support, comments, suggestions and more –
