Garden Centers and Nurseries
Following is a list of garden centers and nurseries that I have used over a number of years to acquire plants and advice from for my house and farm. They are quite an eclectic mixture of “stores”. Obviously some have items that others do not, some are associated with large wholesalers some are small retail businesses, some sell only plants and nothing else, some have extensive gardening products in addition to plants. But, by and large you can find almost anything you want for gardening at your house.
I have included addresses and phone numbers for all businesses – be sure to call before you go to make sure they have what you want. I have found that if you are not sure, the staff at all of the businesses are quite willing and able to help you! All pictures my wife and I took in February as we traveled about Baldwin and Mobile county to each one of the businesses.
IT MUST BE NOTED THAT NONE OF THE BUSINESSES EVEN KNEW WE WERE THERE AND I RECEIVE NO BENEFIT FROM ANY OF THE BUSINESSES!
Of course there are many other businesses that are quite good and this list, again, is put together based on my experiences and no one else. So, if you know of or find a good plant business please let me know via a comment in a Comment blocks (Reply) on any of the links below and I will look at adding them to my list.
